HOLIDAYS!!

Wonderful News guys!!

It's the last week of school and you all know what that means, THE EASTER HOLIDAYS ARE NEARLY HERE!!!  I am stoked.

This means 2 whole weeks off school, and I have a lot planned.  Last weekend I went for a ride on a very naughty donkey but she seemed to behave for me, her name was Cha-Cha, and she was lovely, I really had fun as she cantered when everyone else was trotting on the trail ride, what I'm getting to is that every holidays I do a workshop where I get to spend a whole day riding, tacking up, and feeding horses, I love them so much they are amazing<3

I'm also looking forward to spending time with my friends, chilling at the beach, relaxing, staying up late, sleep-in's, EASTER :) and plenty more stuff. 

It also means that there is no more waking up at some ridiculous hour, no more homework, and no more assignments for a while.

I think it feels good that this is the last week of school, because then you know that you have worked hard and it is time for a break.  I sure hope these holidays fly by like the christmas ones.

Weekly Posts 6

I have a goal i want to accomplish this week and that is to go for a run everynight with my puppy.  This may not seem like much of a goal but i would really be happy if i get it done.  I find that there is a lot of diffence between a walk and a run.  When you go for a walk you think about a lot, but when you go for a run you are mainly focussing on running.
I haven't really been up to much it has been raining heaps and it wouldnt stop.  I know they call it the sunshine coast but it sure aint sunny.  My dog has also been a bit upset because he couldn't go for his walks.  Now there are a few rain clouds but you can also see a bit of sun.
I didn't tell you this at the start of my blog, but i have always wanted to know how to surf.  I once did surf and water lessons at my old school, but i only stood up once and that was on a foam board.  If you can't tell i love the water and go swimming at a local pool every week, and the reason i want to know how to surf is because i think it would be one of the most funnest ways to excercise.
I also uploaded a video this morning, mainly for the girls about having healthy hair and skin.  It is quite a weird trick but it also really works.

This weeks how to is yet another youtube video and it is mainly based for all of the girls out there.  It is about how to get beautiful, radiant, glowing skin and hair.  I myself have also used this video but I think the youtube clip would explain it a lot better then what i would.  It includes what you have to use and some awesome tricks too.
I would like to give credit to buzbeauty as she is the maker of this video and has also made a lot of other really useful videos on beauty and hair tricks.   I have also used a couple of her other videos.  Please check out her videos they are wonderful :)  
For me I think that using a natural yoghurt wouldn't be my first guess to getting beautiful skin and strong hair, it is a weird trick but it really works.  To all the girls out there all i am really saying is please try it.

Guest Blog 2

Chloe
Hello again, today this guest blog is about one of my friends, Chloe.
Chloe’s blog is called Pencil Pals, and it is about drawing. 

She loves drawing and she has been drawing since she was about 9 or 10 years old.
Chloe is not a big fan of sports but she likes to get some fresh air and draw outside.

She loves to draw Manga and animals, but if she had to choose what animal in particular it would be a dog.

Weekly Post 5

Hello,

This week I went to the local pool to do a couple of laps.  I find swimming really fun and because I am training more I am improving heaps.  I also made some very delicious, crispy chicken soft tacos that I uploaded.  You can find out how to make these in the how to section on this blog. 
I also took my dog Cody for a walk, he is a golden labrador who is nearly 4 years old, who is extremely energetic and whenever I go into
the garage to get the lead, he knows it's time to go for a walk and he gets very excited.
I also ran outside and enjoyed some freash air, along with running up to the night owl and getting a fruit salad, because I didn't have enough fruit to make one at home.

Crispy Chicken Tacos



Ingredients:
400grams of chicken breast
Old El Paso crispy chicken soft taco kit
lettuce
light sour cream
vegetable oil






Method


1. defrost the chicken in the microwave 
 2. once defrosted slice the chicken, place in a plastic bag and toss with the crispy chicken crumbs included in the kit.
 3. Heat oil in your frying pan until hot and cook the chicken until a nice golden brown colour.
 4. Warm the tortillas in pouch on HGH for 35 seconds. (make sure you remove the blue sachet thing before)












5. top the tortilla with lettuce, crispy chicken, sour cream &sweet chilli taco sauce.  Then its already to eat :)

Hello again everyone,
This week it is still a bit rainy but it has eased up a bit, there was a low chance of a possible cyclone but that has eased up heaps and wont be happening at all, they also said that it would be a 20% chance of it happening.  I was looking on youtube for another healthy eating video for you, then I stumbled upon a video of a delicious looking recipe.  It looked really yummy so I uploaded it, you can check it out on my how to page, it was from wellnesscoachshawn on youtube.This recipe was for a Greek Peasent Salad.  I wanted to make this recipe myself but when I looked in the kitchen for all of the ingredients, there wasn't enough.  So when I go grocery shopping next I will try and buy all of the ingredients to make it.

Yesterday I was looking forward to go for another run along the beach, but as soon as I was about to leave it started raining again so I had to stay home and think of other things to do.

The clouds are heading out to sea so hopefully the rain goes out as well.  My dog likes going for walks in the rain but I dont so I just play fetch with him in the backyard, and sometimes i also go on the trampoline, i really want to master a backflip, but i just have to keep trying i think.

Hello again everyone,

This week it has been a bit rainy where I have been, so I haven't been able to get out for a run a lot, but I still find ways to excercise so I'm not inside all the time watching TV.  What I enjoy doing in the rain is going on my trampoline and putting soap or detergent on it to make it really slippery.  This is really fun but I advise if you are going to do this make sure your trampoline has a net around it haha.  I also like to try landing a front flip on the trampoline when its slippery, it is so fun but quite hard :)

My dog, Cody, still went for a walk everyday this week.  Rail, hail or shine he honestly doesn't mind :)  He is eating as much as he can, but he is also getting quite fat, so my mum has put him on a diet and Cody is not happy.  Here is a fact for you, did you know that one piece of buttered toast is equivilent to a hambuger for dogs.  Thats is how fattening it is for their body.

When the rain is fully cleared up I hope to go for a swim at the local pool to do more laps. 

I also uploaded a video from youtube about how to get in the habit of healthy eating.  You can see this video in my how to page and I hope it helps.  It is also about trying to get in the habit of being a healthier person. 

Now i am eating heaps of fruit and veg and drinking plently of water.

Greek Peasant Salad

Hello again everyone,

This weeks how to post is another delicious, mouthwatering recipe, but this time it is a video clip I found when i was looking on youtube. The persons username who made this video was wellnesscoachshawn.  He also did a great job at making the video and making the salad look delicious.

I thought it looked pretty yummy so I uploaded it for you all to watch. But unfortunally when i went to have a look in the kitchen for the recipes i didn't have the ingredients at home to make this salad, so when I go grocery shopping next I hope to get all of the ingredients and have a go at making it.

Please consider having a go at making this salad and i hope you really enjoy it.  Soon i will have a couple of pictures of me having a go at making the salad.

This video is great for those of you who are vegetarian and all of the healthy eaters like myself.  It is also great for a side on a family mean or a large get together with friends.  You can keep it in the fridge and have it the next day if there are left overs.  I must say this is probably one of my favourite greek snacks.

But in the mean time i will set you a goal.  If you have all of the ingredients please have a go at making it.










How to develop healthy eating habits

Hello again everyone,

This weeks how to is based around healthy eating habits.  I also got this video clip from youtube and the username of the person/s who creates it was howcast.  I also hope the video comes in handy and it helps. 
I have to say that being a healthy person doesn't mean you have to eat the correct healthy foods, but you also have to excercise.  Excercising is vital and you are also using the natural energy from the healthy foods. 
Make sure you have breakfast every morning to boost up your motabilism and give you a kick start to the day.  Lunch and dinner are also important because with lunch it gives you more energy and with dinner it helps with brain activity and blood flow.  Water is also a refreshing way to keep you hydrated and healthy.  It also gives you healthy skin, hair and nails.
What i am trying to say is DONT skip meals.  It is unhealthy and you wont get enough energy.
This video gives you tips and tricks to help you become a more healthier you and helps you get in the program of healthy eating.
I will also give you a goal and that is to go for a run at least once a week.
